In this post, we are going to share a complete Tencent Gaming Buddy guide that will explain you everything; from how to download to requirements, from requirements to game's settings, and all the controls settings. Tencent Gaming Buddy was released in May 2018 and it's still in beta. So you may experience some glitches. How To Install Tencent Gaming Buddy To Play PUBG Mobile On PC?

Well, there are a variety of Android emulators available in the market, but you will get the best performance on TGB only. To download Tencent Gaming Buddy On PC, follow these steps: –

Hit The Download Button
Install The Package On Your PC
Follow On-Screen Instructions

Step 1.) Visit the official Tencent Gaming Buddy Website; https://syzs.qq.com/en/

Step 2.) Click on the download button to save installer file on your PC. The size of the installer would be around 9 MB.

Step 3.) Once downloaded, head to the directory/location/folder where you save it. Double click the installer package and give the permission to Windows to install on your machine.

Step 4.) After it, you will see the game logo and install button. Hit the install button to start downloading Tencent Gaming Buddy On PC.

Tencent Gaming Buddy Total Download Size: –

Well, it did not mention the total size of the file. But we monitored the data usage; it consumed around 3GB of data. Total Size – Less Than 3 GB(Approx.).

Requirements

The official website does not have details on this topic. But I am going to show you my details; I played it on my Dell Laptop(8GB RAM, Direct X Version; 12, Intel HD Graphics 630/4GB, Nvidia GEFORCE GTX 1050 Graphics/4GB, Processor Speed – 2.8Ghz, Turbo Boost – Up to 3.7Ghz). It was running at 40-60FPS. Let me show you the usage: –

Tencent Gaming Buddy When running at 50-60 FPS, it was consuming 50%+ GPU, 17% of CPU(Total-2.8GHz). In short, it should work fine on a PC having up to 4GB of RAM, 4GB of Graphics Card, and processor speed should be around 1.8GHz. It may not work on a dual-core PC(at high settings, you can set it to low).

FPS – How Much FPS You Can Expect On Tencent Gaming Buddy?

It depends on your PC configuration. For me, it was rendering 50-60FPS most of the time. How to check FPS? Open the Tencent Gaming Buddy -> Play -> tap the menu button -> show FPS. Once enabled, it will show you FPS at the top-left corner.

Game Settings

You can change the default game settings(720p, auto-display) from the settings menu. Tap the menu -> settings -> game settings -> there you can change resolution from 720p to 1080p or Ultra HD 2K. And you can set the display on HD, auto, smooth, and balanced mode. Keep it low if you have a low-end PC.

Control Settings – Tencent Gaming Buddy Best Settings

Once you are all done; after installing and signing-in, it's time to change mouse sensitivity. With default settings, it's difficult to aim or look around. Go to the PUBG Mobile settings in Tencent Gaming Buddy -> sensitivity -> under the camera section -> change the sensitivity(that suits your game style);

3rd Person – No Scope, 2x Scope, 3x Scope, 6x Scope, red-dot, holographic, and aim-assist
1st Person – Same

Here's my settings info that I am using in Tencent Gaming Buddy: –

3rd Person No Scope – 42%
2X, 3X, 4X, 6X, 8X – 4%
Red-Dot, Holographic – 7%

Well, it actually depends on how you control the mouse. If you have good control over the mouse, then increase the sensitivity. How does it work? Basically, reducing the sensitivity makes the look around movement tight and increasing the sensitivity makes the look around movement light. If you are a rookie like me, then try my settings configuration.

I would recommend you to play the training mode before you start the match with teammates. In training mode, pick all the scopes and experiment with all the guns. This is the only way to choose the best settings.

Game Engine Settings: –

Tap the menu at the top right corner of the emulator's window -> settings -> engine. For the best performance, set it to:-

Rendering – Direct X+(High Stability, But high CPU Consumption)
Enable the render cache
Enable rendering optimizations(if you have selected Direct X+, OpenGL+)
Set anti-aliasing to close or ultimate(On ultimate if you have high-end GPU)
Set memory, the processor to auto
DPI – 240

Save and Restart.

Signing-In Problem

Tencent Gaming Buddy does not support Google Play Log-In. You need to connect with Facebook or Twitter or play as a guest. But if you have already an account and it is connected with Google Play, then you will have to link the game to Facebook or Twitter first in order to play with that account on PC. And it's easy. Open your mobile -> PUBG Mobile -> Settings -> Basic -> in the basic menu, at the top-right corner, tap the + icon to link with one more service. Once done, head to the Tencent Gaming Buddy and log in with Facebook or Twitter.

Alt/Left-Alt – Look Around/Eye

1 – Switch To Gun/First Slot
2 – Switch To Gun/Second Slot
0, 9, 8, 7 – Use Med Kits, Booster, Bandages
4, 5, 6 – Smoke, Grenade

Right Click – Zoom
Left Click – Fire
Q, E – Peek
Space – Jump
Right Click Again – Unlock The Aim/Zoom-Out

How To Change Key Shortcuts In Tencent Gaming Buddy?

One of the best ways to change shortcut keys in Tencent Gaming Buddy is; go to the game settings(open TGB – Play -> PUBG Mobile Settings -> Controls -> Customize) -> Tap the keyboard icon from the side menu -> click to change. Keep in mind that you can not change all the keys. And don't forget to hit the save button.

How To Update TGB?

On the My Games Window(launch the emulator), tap the menu(three lines near minimize option) -> update -> if the update is available, the game will notify you. Hit the upgrade button to start. Note: – It will only update the Tencent Gaming Buddy, not PUBG Mobile.

The latest update to one of the hottest game has been released today for all mobile users. The main highlight of this update is the event mode; zombie mode. In this mode, you land on Erangel map and try to survive until last. You will have to face off two deadly nights in which deadly zombies will raid your squad. They spawn in huge numbers. If you head to the event section(even rewards), it will show you the missions that you can complete to get awesome rewards. The update has also added; moon weather/theme to Vikendi, Sanhok – Quick Match, and much more. The total update size on Android is 1.5GB – 2GB(Approx.). And, on iOS, it will consume over 2GB.

Tencent Gaming Buddy PUBG Mobile 0.10.0 Vikendi Map Update

Tencent Gaming Buddy PUBG Mobile Vikendi UPdate The snow map, known as Vikendi is now available to download in PUBG Mobile as well as TGB emulator. Its size is around 135 MB. It's in beta as of now. At the time of writing this post, it's unplayable as the launch time is tomorrow. There are many players reported that they have downgraded the graphics. But for me, it has improved a lot. In addition to the Vikendi map, you will also see dead zombies, their signs on the map. They are teasing the new Resident Evil 2 event. You will see an upgrade button when you launch the emulator. Tencent Gaming Buddy PUBG Mobile 0.9.0

The latest update to the PUBG Mobile, version 0.9.0 in Tencent Gaming Buddy could live soon today or tomorrow. Like the previous time, it came after a day, you will have to wait until it shows the upgrade button on the launcher screen. But if you can not wait, you can manually install the PUBG 0.9.0 version in Tencent Gaming Buddy(Read this guide). I have already installed manually and it works flawlessly. It merely takes 5 minutes.

The highlight of this version is night mode. However, it comes randomly in Erangel map(like rainy mode in Snahok). And there are new items also. The update also added one more gun(QBU DMR), one more vehicle(Rony Pick Up Truck) to the sanhok map. Additionally, Halloween theme is also live. The game's size is 1.5 GB(Without Miramar, Snahok map). You will need to download them; Miramar's size – 329 MB. Sanhok – 83MB. Happy Halloween! Old Updates – Many players are searching how to update to PUBG Mobile 0.8.0 update. For now, the update is not yet rolled out to emulator users. It may come today or take a couple of days.
